    Great adventure in Nepal

      |   Gitta, Netherlands

We had a very well-organised trek to the Annapurna circuit with our guide Som. When I got altitude sickness, the Top of the World agency was thinking together with the guide what was the best way to handle this situation. They arranged a flexible schedule for us after the trek to do paragliding and rafting near Pokhara and later we went on a tour to Chitwan NP. We were very happy!

Annapurna Circuit with super guide Jiwan

      |   tapehavo, Netherlands

Quite spontanously my boyfriend and i booked the Annapurna Circuit with Top of The World. When we arrived in Kathmandu we visited several agencies but Janardan, from 8848 Hostels and Top of the World, gave us a good feeling. And our hike was amazing and that was mainly because of our fantastic guide Jiwan!! Jiwan is from Nepal and born in the Everest region so he knows a lot about the mountains and altitude sickness. Jiwan knows the way and is very confident, we felt really safe and trusted him. He could tell us a lot about the local cultural, the history and traditions which was very interesting. The service was excellent: the rooms Jiwan booked for us were great, he brought (and carried!!) fresh fruits for us for every day and also some cookies or lychee juice so we always had energy to walk and climb. Mmm yummy! And besides that, he made it really clear that it is our trip and our holiday. So if we wanted to change the itinary (for having an extra relaxing day) this was always possible and Jiwan helped us making the right decisions because he knows the mountain region very well. Jiwan is also very funny and nice company. He learned our card games very quick and taught us some Nepalese games and usefull words as well ;) So a very big thanks to Top of the World and especially to our guide Jiwan for a fantastic hike!! :)
