Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport.

Once you arrive at the airport, TOP OF THE WORLD ADVENTURE is one and only travel agency in Tribhuvan International Airport arrival. After collecting your baggage you will get our agency in international arrival. Our airport staff will brief you regarding the trip and will provide you vouchers. Our agency have special space at arrival parking, you will be transferred to hotel from arrival gate. In the evening our office representative will meet you and invite you for welcome dinner.

Today you will start your 13 days trek with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,827 m.) in the morning parallel to the huge Himalayan adjacent to Nepal and China. After 40 minutes, you will be landed in a runway. Then you will walk down to the Dudh Kosi River, where you connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar. After moving all the way through the small area of Ghat (2550m), you will soon arrive at our tea house at Phakding.

Today, you start from Phakding and walk across the river to trek all the way through the area of rhododendron. Then you go crossways to the Dudh Kosi at Benkar and take pleasure from the scenes of snow-topped mountains Kusum Kanguru (6,369 m.), Thamserku (6,623 m.) and so on. The way then becomes fairly difficult and includes a perpendicular climb to Namche Bazaar. You will now walk through upstream on flat land, on the bank, to the fusion point of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After crossing one of the suspension bridges above the river, you will ascend to Namche Bazaar. This day is acclimatization day. On the day time you will have time to visit Khumjung village and Everest view hotel from where you can see the excellent view of Mount Everest and other mountains. Then you will move back to Namche bazzar for overnight stay.

Guide of Top Of The World Adventure will then take you down through the Khumjung community and move to the major path to Everest Base Camp.You will walk further to Trashinga and then move down to go across the Dudh Koshi at Phunkitenga (3,250 m.). In the daytime, it is a wide and vertical ascend through fir, black juniper, pine, rhododendron forest and reach Tengboche Monastery. Here you can see gigantic peaks AmaDablam, Kantega and Mount Everest. You stay at hotel in Tengboche tonight.

You will walk slightly down through the forest of birch, juniper, fir and rhododendron at Debuche. Here due to the elevation you have to speed yourself all the way through the day. After passing the Imja Khola, the trail heads to Pangboche where you can see the beautiful mountain of Ama Dablam. Then your route is to climb all the way through unwrapped alpine hillsides prior to another crossing of the Imja Khola and reach Dingboche.

On this whole day you will take rest. On the day time you can explore around Dingboche valley from where you can see nearest view of Amadablam Mountain. And stay overnight at Dingboche teahouse lodge.

 Today, you go away Pheriche and the trail goes up to the drain of the Khumbu. Then after an hour, the path mounts up to the Khumbu Glacier.Moving ahead from Dughla the trail keeps on ascending steeply to the crest of the moraine.The path now moves on flat level on the youst part of the moraine prior to arriving at Lobuche

You will trek towards Gorakshep today. From this place,our agent of Top Of The World Adventure you will lead you up to Everest Base Camp, then return to Gorakshep for staying overnight since you cannot find lodges at Everest Base Camp .

Early morning, hike to the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, this will be at the highest spot of the adventure, offering incredible views of mountains with Mt. Everest at closest. After a great moment, you return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue trek to Thugla, and downhill to Pheriche on windy valley for overnight stop.

Return journey much easier as the walk drops heights every few hours, walk downhill with few short ups to Pangboche and then to a bridge with two hours climb to Tengboche. Stop for lunch in Tengboche, then continue to Namche Bazzar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Morning walk leads back to Phakding and from here back to Lukla with last and final climb of trekking in Nepal of this fabulous adventure, then on reaching Lukla, you celebrate last night dinner with fellow trekkers and staff of Top Of The World Adventure Agency.

You will wake up early in the morning and get ready for the entrance of plane for returning back to Kathmandu. Then, you will transfer back to our hotel. Remaining day to explore in Kathmandu, overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

• Pashupatinath temple

Pashupatinath temple is one of the famous and holiest places among Hindu people around the world. It is situated in 5 kilometres east of Kathmandu. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of Hindu faith .The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions rose over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Baghmati river” and is included as one of the seven monument groups in UNESCO’s designation of Kathmandu Valley as a cultural heritage site. This main temple is built in the Nepalese pagoda style of architecture. All the features of pagoda style founded here like cubic constructions, beautifully carved wooden rafters on which they rest (tundal). The two level roofs are of copper with gold covering. The temple resides on a square base platform with a height of 23m 7 cm from base to pinnacle.

• Boudhanath temple

This is the largest stupa around the world and also religious focal point and meditation centre for Nepali and Tibetan Buddhist .The ancient stupa is the one of the largest stupa in the world. There is over 50 Tibetan Gompa around Boudhanath stupa. Boudhanath stupa is listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Along with Swaymbhunath, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area.

• Patan Durbar square

Patan durbar square is situated in Lalitpur city. Among the most ancient cities of Nepal Patan is popularly known for fine art and typical masterpieces. The Durbar Square is a marvel of Newa architecture. The city was initially designed in the shape of the Buddhist Dharma-Chakra (Wheel of Righteousness) which is surrounded by four stupas and one at the middle, erected in 3rd century AD By Emperor Asoka.
