About Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek in Nepal
Ghorepani Ghandruk Trekking is definitely a quick escapade for a couple of days around picturesque village to capture a glimpse of rich culture and beautiful subtropical alpine Rhododendron forest track aimed at one of the world's finest viewpoints – Poon Hill – to observe amazing sunrise & sunset and panorama of the seventh, eighth and tenth highest peaks in the world – Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt. Manaslu (8163 m) and Mt. Annapurna.
Ghorepani Trekking in less than a week's holiday window is an excellent opportunity to encounter local people and beautiful nature. It is pleasant to walk on trails with a mountain backdrop through the beautiful village and the tempting landscapes–so elegant, that will knock to the photographer's side of you. Just couldn't resist immersing yourself in it.
This short trek to Ghorepani Ghandruk begins with an hour's drive from Lake City – to Pokhara following the Beni-Baglung highway to Nayapul from where we launch our walk to Birethanti and carry on to Hille through picturesque green farmlands, ever-flowing waterfalls and the fresh fragrance of Rhododendron forest (if it's March-May Spring season).
