Everest High Passes Trek is an exhilarating adventure in the Himalayas for 18 days which includes trekking on popular Everest trails while discovering unique gems of the Khumbu region. On your 18 day 3 pass Everest trekking adventure, you cross three high passes in the Everest region - Kongma La Pass (5,535/18,159ft), Cho La Pass (5420m/17,782ft) and Renjo La Pass (5,340m/17,520ft) and set foot on the Everest base camp, climb Kala Patthar and Gokyo Ri; and Gokyo Lakes. This route also introduces trekkers to the remote and untouched Nangpa La Valley, the Sherpa village of Marlung and the monastery village of Thame.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Our airport representative will be in Kathmandu international airport with your name card or our agency's name card. When confirmation of your arrival is done, you will drive from airport to Kathmandu Hotel. After check in, you will be freshen up and go to visit agency office to collect flights tickets and other information. If you have missed to bring any trekking equipment then you can buy just next to hotel. You will have welcome dinner in the night and drop back to the hotel and overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Today you will start your 18 days trek with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 m) in the morning. If you are not taking guide from Kathmandu and like to take from Lukla airport, your guide will be there in airport showing your name. After 45 minutes, you will land in a runway. Then you will walk down to the Dudh Koshi River, where you connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar. After moving all the way through the small area of Ghat (2550 m), you will soon arrive at our teahouse at Phakding.

You will start your trekking from Phakding and walk across the river to trek all the way through the area of rhododendron. Then you go crossways to the Dudh Koshi at Benkar and take pleasure from the scenes of snow-topped mountains Kusum Kanguru (6,369 m.), Thamserku (6,623 m.) and so on. Along the way you will have your permits check at Jorsalle. Then trekking becomes fairly difficult and includes a perpendicular climb to Namche Bazaar. After crossing one of the suspension bridges above the river, you will ascend to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at hotel in Namche Bazaar.

Today you may rest or hike through the village of Khunde and Khumjung. Khumjung is the largest village of Khumbu region. After having lunch you will hike back to Namche Bazaar.

Trek starts after breakfast in Namche and trails follows colorful prayer flags, with several shorten and Mani stones from Namche Gompa. The guide will take you to Thame, which is a small monastery village, situated at the altitude of 3825m and the birth place of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa (first man to reach Everest summit with Edmund Hillary).

After morning breakfast, the trail leads you to Lumde village which is the 6th day of 18 days of trek in Nepal, the village of Lumde is only one settlement before crossing Renjola pass. Keep continuing your journey up to Lumde village. Overnight at Lumde.

After having breakfast in Lungden. Trail slightly leads to Renjola pass 5360 m. Renjola pass is one of the easiest  pass in the Khumbu Himalaya compare to other passes (Chola and Kongmala). Renjola pass is the third pass among 3 pass Everest trekking. Whole trail is zigzag with sandy ridges, until Gokyo lakes.  Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.

Our guide will lead the trek to Gokyo Ri (5347m) which starts early in the morning. The summit offers the extravagant vista of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and many more. While climbing down you can enjoy the view of Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Dragnag teahouse(4700m).

Initially you will walk downhill to reach Thangna village and have tea or coffee. The trail from here goes directly to Cho La Pass at (5420 m). Cho La pass is the second pass among the 3 pass trekking in Everest trekking. You will walk down hill to Dzongla village. Today might be the difficult day in trekking, the half journey of 18 days of trek in Nepal. Overnight at teahouse.

After having morning breakfast you will start your trek to Lobuche by crossing Cho-La (4665 m). On the way you will witness Dzongla Lake, Ama Dablam and Thamserku himalaya. Overnight at teahouse.

This day you will start trek from Lobuche 4910m towards Gorakshep 5164 m, where you can find the nearest teahouse from EBC. You will get Gorakshep about lunch time. After having lunch, our guide will lead you up to Everest Base Camp (5364 m), then return to Gorakshep for staying overnight as there are no teahouses in Everest Base Camp.

Early morning, you will hike to the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, this will be at the highest spot of the adventure (5545 m), offering incredible views of mountains with Mt. Everest at closest. After a great moment, you will return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue the trek to Lobuche, and overnight at Teahouse lodge.

13th day of 18 days of trekking in Nepal starts with breakfast in Lobuche, trail slightly turns to Khumbu Glacier to cross Khongmala pass (5535 m). Khongmala pass is the first pass among 3 pass everest trekking. The route leads for another absolute wilderness away from the main trekking area, the trek follows the upper moraine. You walk carefully to climb and cross the glacier and reach nearby the Nuptse wall. Steady climb toward the Kongmala pass(5535m), the highest pass on our trip, the walk leads higher up and then descending towards the glacier pong and to the Chukung village. Overnight at Chukung.

After breakfast in Dingboche trail our guide will lead you through villages, Buddhists monasteries, bridges, some waterfalls and Rhododendron forest to arrive at Tengboche (3890m) via Orsho, Somare, Pangboche and Debouche.  Overnight at Tea house.

First part of the trail directly goes through Rhododendron forest and pine forest to Fungethaga. The trail slightly goes uphill to Namche via Tarshing and Sanasa village. Great view of the journey of 18 days of trekking in Nepal of Khumbu Himalaya from village of Sanasa. You will trek to Monjo and overnight at Teahouse Lodge.

The trail steeply goes down through Rhododendron and Pine forest to Phakding, it will take about five hours to reach Lukla via, Benkar, Phakding, Ghat Khola, Chaurikharka, Chheplung and arrival in Lukla. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge of Lukla.

The day starts with early morning joyful flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to your Hotel. During the day you will have rest after long journey in the Khumbu Himalaya and Evening farewell dinner with Nepali Cultural Show.
