About 13 Days Naar Phu Trek
Located in some of Annapurna's most quaint, ancient villages, Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of the best off-the-beaten-path trekking destinations in Nepal's Annapurna region. During this trek, the glorious villages in the Annapurna region such as Manang, Jomsom, Phu etc. will surely delight you. Such villages overlook some of the region's majestic mountains, such as Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tilicho, Chulu West and Chulu East. This is 20 days trek which starts from the point of departure of the Annapurna Circuit trek as you drive to Syange before reaching Dharapani and Chame. But instead of going to Pisang like on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will head out to Koto village before reaching the Phu Valley. Phu, one of Nepal's oldest villages, lies fairly close to the north Tibetan frontier. As a result, from Phu you will get some stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. You will join the Annapurna Circuit trekkers after an exploration of the Phu Valley as you head out to Manang before finally reaching Thorong la Pass (5416m), the highest point along this trek. During this trek you will cross another mountain pass-Kangla Pass (5306m).
You will also visit the old Buddhist monastery mentioned out of the 108 great Buddhist monasteries of the world (Tashi Lhakhang Monastery). The monastery in Manang called the Braga Monastery will also give you insights into this region's Buddhist history. Muktinath-Hindus ' holy temple, as well as Buddhists, is another spot you can enter during the Nar Phu Valley Trek.
