About Kalinchowk-Barebise trek (2 Nights/3Days)
Kalinchowk Trek is located in Dolakha District, in the eastern hilly zone of Nepal. Kalinchowk Trek is famous for the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple which stands at a height of 3,842 m above the hill. This temple belongs to the goddess Bhagwati who is renowned for praying & desiring pilgrims' fulfilment. In addition to the pilgrimage, it provides a stunning view of the Langtang, Jugal, Gaurishankar and Everest Range. The remarkable aspect of this trek is that we can see many different people living in peace and multi-culture from different cultures & castes including Sherpa, Tamang & Brahmin, and you can see Chhetris during the trip. Another highlight is the forest of rhododendrons, birds & animals found in this area. The area is located in the Gaurishankar Conservation Area, where two prominent rivers Sunkoshi & Tamakoshi originate and later meet one of Nepal's largest rivers, the Koshi River.
